A normal Distribution Transformer generally steps-down the voltage from HT to LT, but it cannot handle fluctuating voltage, and it has been discovered that the problem of fluctuating voltage persists most of the time and at most sites, resulting in improper electrical system operation. The HT Transformer with Built-In HT Automatic Voltage Stabilizer offers complete voltage fluctuation and stabilization solutions. The unit is essentially a combination of an HT Automatic Voltage Stabilizer and a standard HT Distribution Transformer that works in tandem. These are available in 33 KV Class up to 8000 kVA.
